Hawaiian Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • Sadia Chicken Drumette
  • Pineapple in natural juice (can) 200ml
  • Tomato Ketchup 150gm
  • Light Soy Sauce 60gm
  • Brown Sugar 40gm
  • Malt Vinegar 20gm
  • Garlic Cloves – minced 20gm
  • Fresh Ginger – grated 5gm
  • Paprika Powder 10gm
  • Onion Powder 5gm
  • Cumin Powder 2.5gm
  • Olive Oil

METHOD

Marination:

  1. Add all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil
  2. Lower heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes or so until it’s reduced by 1/3 and is a bit syrupy
  3. Allow marinade glaze to cool off. Marinate chicken drumettes with it for at least 4 hours

Baking of Chicken:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Lay marinate chicken evenly on a baking tray
  3. Place chicken in the oven and bake for 10 mins over 200°C
