Beef and Potato Bake

INGREDIENTS
Beef- 1 pack of Sadia Beef Cubes
- 300g hash brown potatoes, shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1/2 tsp brown sauce
- 100g frozen peas
- 100g frozen carrot
METHOD
- Firstly, pre-heated oven to 190oC. In a large mixing bowl, place the shredded potatoes, salt and pepper then stir together until ingredients are well mixed. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix again.
- Transfer the potatoes to a baking dish and press them down with a spoon or spatula to form a crust along the bottom and sides.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. While the potatoes are baking, add the butter over medium heat in a saucepan until melted.
- Gradually whisk the flour into the butter for 2 to 3 minutes until fully combined. Add the brown sauce, stirring until the gravy boils and thickens.
- In a separate pan, cook the Sadia Beef Cubes based on the instructions given.
- Add the gravy and the peas and carrots to the beef cubes and stir to combine. When the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven.
- Spread the beef cubes and veggies over the potato crust, top with the remaining gravy. Return the dish to the oven to bake for another 15-20 minutes.
- Slice into equal pieces and serve on a plate!
