Caprese Burger

INGREDIENTS
- 2 pieces Sadia Primo Beef Burger with Black Pepper and Onion, thawed
- 1 fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 2 tbsp basil pesto sauce
- 2 brioche hamburger buns, halved
- A handful of sweet basil leaves
- Olive oil, for frying
- Extra virgin olive oil, to season
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
METHOD
- Drizzle some olive oil on a skillet and pan-fry burger patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until fully cooked. Set patties aside
- On the same pan, toast the halved brioche buns on medium heat till crisp and golden brown.
- Spread basil pesto sauce on both of the toasted buns. Add patty, tomatoes and sliced buffalo mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of the bun
- Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over the mozzarella and season with some salt and black pepper. Top with the other half of the bun and serve warm. Bon Appétit!
