Chicken Burger Pita

INGREDIENTS
Chicken Patty- 1 piece of Sadia Chicken Burger Patties
- 1 pita bread
- 1-2 lettuce leaves (as needed)
- 1-2 tomato slices
- A few rings of red onion slices
- A few cucumber slices
- 2-3 tbsp of Tzatziki sauce or Greek yogurt
- Olive oil (for cooking)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Feta cheese (crumbled)
METHOD
- Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the Sadia Chicken Burger patty according to the instruction or about a few minutes per side until it's thoroughly cooked. You can season the patty with a bit of salt and pepper while cooking.
- While the patty is cooking, warm your pita bread. You can do this in the oven, toaster oven, or lightly grill it in a separate pan for a minute on each side.
- Slice the pita bread halfway through to create a pocket. Start by placing the lettuce leaves inside the pita, followed by tomato slices, cucumber slices, and red onion rings.
- Slice the Sadia Chicken Burger into smaller strips or pieces that can easily fit into the pita pocket. Place the chicken patties on top of the veggies inside the pita.
- Drizzle tzatziki sauce or Greek yogurt over the chicken. If you're using feta cheese, sprinkle it in as well for extra flavour. Enjoy!
