Chicken Cabbage Rolls

INGREDIENTS

Chicken 
  • 1 pack of Sadia Chicken Breast (Use 2-3 pieces)
Ingredients 
  • 10 cabbage leaves 
  • 1½  long carrot, chopped
  • 1½  stalk scallions, chopped 
  • 3 tsp light soy sauce 
  • 1/2 tsp sugar 
  • 1½ tsp sesame oil 
  • 1 tsp chinese five spice powder
Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil 
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce 
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce 
  • 1 tsp corn starch 
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce

METHOD

  1. Firstly, mince the Sadia Chicken breast in a food processor. 
  2. Add the chopped carrot and scallions into the processor and mix everything. Once done, transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  3. Add the light soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil and chinese five spice powder into the mixture. Mix them together and set aside. 
  4. In a pot, blanch the cabbage leaves for 8 to 10 minutes in boiling water. 
  5. Once boiled, start by adding a tablespoon of the filling and wrap it into a cylinder shape. Repeat this step for the rest of the cabbage leaves.
  6. Add the rolls into a steamer for 10 minutes. 
  7. As for the sauce, mix the sesame oil, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, corn starch, and chili sauce into a bowl.
  8. Pour the sauce over the rolls and add them on a plate. Serve and enjoy!
