Chicken Cannonballs

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack Sadia Minced Chicken
- 2 1/2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup parmesan, finely grated
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp rosemary/thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
- Canola oil spray
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Combine the minced meat, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, salt and pepper to taste and rosemary/thyme in a bowl. Mix well.
- The little ones can put on their aprons and get rolling! Scoop the mixture and roll into small balls (about the size of a golf ball). Then roll these in the crushed cornflakes.
Note: Regular breadcrumbs would work too but cornflakes add an extra touch of ‘party’ texture and flavour. - Place them on the baking tray, lightly spray over with canola oil and put into the oven to cook for 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Get ready to serve and decorate these cannonballs in pirate theme!
