Chicken Kebab

INGREDIENTS

  • 450g Sadia Helper Cuts Chicken Minced
  • 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
  • 300g cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3 tbsp chickpea flour
  • Cooking oil for frying

METHOD

  1. Mix all ingredients, except oil, in a large bowl until well incorporated. Set aside to marinate in the fridge for at least an hour
  2. Divide the meat into 10-12 equal portions and form into 1cm-thick patties
  3. Heat enough oil to coat a wide non-stick pan, and shallow fry the patties for 3-5 mins on each side or till they are completely cooked through
  4. Serve hot with some green chutney or ketchup on the side!
