Chicken Tikka Masala

INGREDIENTS

Chicken
  • 1 pack of Sadia Chicken Thigh 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp crushed ginger
  • 1 cup of tomato puree
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 tsp salt

Garnishing
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Parsley, chopped

METHOD

  1. Start with pre-heating the oven to 200ºC.
  2. To create the sauce, combine all the ingredients except the chicken, in a blender and blend till smooth.
  3. In an oven plate, add the Sadia Chicken Thigh and pour the blended sauce over.        
  4. Allow to bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked. 
  5. Turn on the grill/broiler and allow the top of the chicken to caramelise for another 5-10 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, place the chicken thigh in a bowl and serve with some sliced lemons on the side. Dig in!
