Christmas Roll

INGREDIENTS

Chicken 
  • 1 pack of Sadia Chicken Thigh
Ingredients 
  • 1 sheet puff pastry 
  • 1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup peas 
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce 
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg, beaten 
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1 tsp pepper

METHOD

  1. To begin, preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Next, roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth any creases. 
  3. Add the cranberry sauce on top and spread evenly. 
  4. Once done, boil the Sadia Chicken Thigh in a pot using the package instructions. 
  5. Once boiled, shred the chicken and add them on top of the sauce and distribute evenly. 
  6. Sprinkle the pre-cooked mixed vegetables over the stuffing layer.
  7. Finally, add the shredded cheese. Starting from one end, gently roll the pastry into a tight log, ensuring the filling stays inside.
  8. Cut the roll into pieces then brush the tops and sides of each piece with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Add the rolls on a serving plate and serve!
