Christmas Roll

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- 1 pack of Sadia Chicken Thigh
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
METHOD
- To begin, preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Next, roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth any creases.
- Add the cranberry sauce on top and spread evenly.
- Once done, boil the Sadia Chicken Thigh in a pot using the package instructions.
- Once boiled, shred the chicken and add them on top of the sauce and distribute evenly.
- Sprinkle the pre-cooked mixed vegetables over the stuffing layer.
- Finally, add the shredded cheese. Starting from one end, gently roll the pastry into a tight log, ensuring the filling stays inside.
- Cut the roll into pieces then brush the tops and sides of each piece with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
- Add the rolls on a serving plate and serve!
