INGREDIENTS

Burger Patties
  • 2 slices of Sadia Beef Burger Patties
Vegetables and Fruits
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil or butter
  • 1/2 cup of broccoli, pre blanched in boiling water
  • 1/4 cup of frozen or canned corn
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup of grapes
Egg
  • 1 Egg
Toppings
  • Furikake (rice seasoning), to taste

METHOD

  1. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add the olive oil or butter.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add the broccoli florets, frozen or canned corn, and shredded carrots to the pan.
  3. Sauté the vegetables for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly caramelised.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once the vegetables are cooked to your liking, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  5. In the same pan, crack an egg and cook it sunny side up until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny. Set the egg aside.
  6. Prepare Sadia Beef Burger Patties according to the packaging instructions using the same pan. You may cut it into fun shapes using a cookie cutter!
  7. Once everything is cooked, assemble your Hamburg Rice Bento with the cooked Japanese short-grain rice as the base. Next, add the egg above the rice. Then, pack the bento with the beef burger patties, and the sautéed broccoli, corn, shredded carrots and grapes.
  8. Sprinkle some furikake rice seasoning over the rice for extra flavour. Enjoy!
