Hamburg Rice with Mushroom Sauce

INGREDIENTS
Hamburg Patties- 1 patty of Sadia Primo Beef Burger with Black Pepper & Onion
- 1 serving of cooked rice
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 canned mushrooms, thinly sliced
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- sunny-side fried egg (optional)
METHOD
- Pan fry the Sadia Primo Beef Burger patty as per packaging instructions and set it aside.
- At low heat, melt the butter. Once bubbly, add the flour and stir constantly (a wire whisk works best), cooking until the color is light brown.
- Then gradually add the beef broth. Whisk continuously until the gravy thickens.
- Next, add the mushrooms into the gravy and cook for 20 secs. Then add in the garlic powder and mix until powder dissolved. Bring the mixture to a low simmer for 2 mins.
- Add the patty into the gravy and continue to let them simmer until the beef patties are heated up again. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Plate the patty and gravy on a bowl of rice. Optional to add a sunny-side egg.
