INGREDIENTS
Har Cheong Gai- 2 servings of Sadia Prawn Paste Wings (Har Cheong Gai), or as preferred
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup dashi stock
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 1 serving of cooked Rice
- Spring onion
METHOD
- Prepare the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings according to the instructions on the packaging. Once it is cooked, shred them and place them aside.
- While the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings are being prepared, start making the Oyakodon. Heat a pan over medium heat and add dashi stock, soy sauce, sugar, and thinly sliced onion. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
- Whisk two eggs together. Evenly distribute the egg mixture all over the pan and the onions. Lightly stir so the eggs can set. Let the eggs cook for 1 minute or until 95% cooked. Serve the egg and the sauce on top of a bowl of rice.
- Add the Sadia Prawn Paste Wings on top. Garnish with some spring onion.
