Hawaiian Beef Burger Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack Sadia Primo Beef Burger with Black Pepper and Onion, thawed
Salad bowl:
  • 115g romaine lettuce, shredded (about two medium heads)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (soak in ice water)
  • 8 canned pineapple rings
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into strips and cut in half again
  • Sesame seeds, to garnish
  • Spring onionss, thinly sliced for garnish
  • Pickles, sliced (optional)
Teriyaki Mayo dressing:
  • 80g mayo
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp pineapple juice from the same can
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

METHOD

  1. Prepare teriyaki mayo by mixing the ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well until smooth, then set aside
  2. Grill Sadia Primo Beef Burger with Black Pepper and Onion on a skillet till cooked through or browned on both sides, for about 6-8 minutes. Once all patties are cooked, set aside on a paper towel to rest
  3. Grill pineapple rings on both sides till browned, then set aside
  4. Mix all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Slice beef patties and add to the bowl, together with the grilled pineapples
  5. Drizzle teriyaki mayo over your protein-rich salad bowl and enjoy!
