
Hunan Chicken Stir-Fry

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- Chicken 3 Joint Wing
- 500g Sadia Chicken 3 Joint Wing
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp chili garlic paste (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken stock or water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2-3 dried red chilies (optional, for spice)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish
METHOD
- Marinate the chicken wings in soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, chili garlic paste, cornstarch slurry, sugar, and chicken stock. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken wings for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat more oil and stir fry garlic, ginger, and dried red chilies (optional) until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until tender crisp.
- Combine chicken, vegetables, and sauce. Toss to coat and let the sauce thicken for 2-3 minutes as it simmers.
- Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
