Japanese Beef Curry

INGREDIENTS
Beef- 1 pack Sadia Stir Fry Beef
- 1 tsp of salt & black Pepper
- 1½ tbsp of curry powder
- 4 tbsp oil
- 3 onions sliced
- 2 large potato, cut into chunks
- 2 large carrot, cut into chunks
- 6-8 cups water
- 1.5 cup of full fat coconut milk
- 2 pieces of unsweeten dark chocolate
- 1/4 apple, grated
- 1 pack of curry cubes (115g)
- 8 servings/ amount appropriate for 8 pax
METHOD
- Season Sadia Stir Fry Beef with salt, black pepper, 2 tbsp of oil, and 1½ tbsp of curry powder. Set it aside to sit for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 tbsp oil and the sliced onions into your cooking pan. Turn the heat up to medium-high and saute the onions for 5-6 minutes or until it turns soft, translucent, and slightly brown. Remove the onions and set them aside.
- In a large pot, add 1 tbsp of oil and turn the heat up to medium-high. Add the beef and saute the beef for 3-4 minutes or until it turns brown. Add in the sauteed onions from earlier and mix the beef and onions evenly together.
- Next, pour in 6-8 cups of water to the pot and bring it to a simmer. Stir occasionally, so it doesn’t stick to the bottom.
- Add in the potatoes and carrots and let it cook until slightly softened.
- Add in the grated apple, two pieces of dark chocolate, one pack of curry cubes, and 1½ cups of whole fat coconut milk. Mix till everything is combined and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Once everything is well mixed. You may serve with rice. Enjoy!
