  • 1 packet of Sadia Oats & Herbs Breaded Chicken Breast (2 pieces)

Green Nasi Lemak Rice

  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 pieces of pandan leaves
  • 5 stalks of lemongrass
  • 3 slices of ginger
  • ½ cup of pandan extract
  • ½ cup of coconut milk
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp of Chicken powder


  • 50g of chilli padi
  • 75g of shallots
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 100g dried chilli
  • 100g anchovies
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 tbsp balachan
  • 2 tsp of tamarind juice
  • A few cut pieces of pandan leaves
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste


  1. Add all the ingredients in the rice cooker and cook for 25 mins.
  2. Place Sadia Oats and Herbs Chicken in the oven for 18 mins. Set aside once it’s done.
  3. Blend the chilli padi, shallots, garlic, dried chilli, and anchovies in a chopper.
  4. Heat up the oil in a wok, put in the blended chilli paste, and stir-fry the paste until fragrant and of its desired consistency.
  5. Add balachan, tamarind juice, a few pieces of pandan leaves, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
  6. Fry sunny side up egg. Set aside.
  7. Place a clean banana leaf on a flat plate. Dish up the green rice, mould it with a small bowl and place it on the banana Leaf. Slice Sadia Oats & Herbs Breaded Chicken into strips and plate beside the rice. Serve it with sambal and sunny side up egg.
