Ramly Beef Burger

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack Sadia Beef Burger with Black Pepper and Onion
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of white cheddar cheese
  • Malaysian style sweet chili sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • 4 hamburger buns, sliced lengthwise
  • Lettuce leaves, washed and dried

METHOD

  1. Slather the sliced buns generously with butter. In a large pan on medium heat, carefully toast the buttered buns till golden-brown. Remove buns from pan.
  2. In the same pan on medium-high heat, drizzle some oil and add the patties, cooking each side about 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through to your desired doneness. Then set patties aside.
  3. In the same pan on low-medium heat, add a light coat of oil and pour in a beaten egg. You will have to do this separately for each burger.
  4. Swirl the eggs around the pan and scrape down the sides.
  5. When the egg is fully cooked, with no runny eggs in the middle, place a slice of cheese and a beef patty stacked in the centre of the omelette.
  6. Gently fold the omelette on all four sides to cover the patty so that it resembles a parcel.
  7. Place a lettuce and the omelette-wrapped patty on the buns and drizzle over with mayonnaise and chilli sauce, and some black pepper, then finally top it with the bun. Serve it immediately.
