Sweet and Spicy Wings

INGREDIENTS
Chicken Wings- 1 pack of Sadia Mid Joint Wings
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp powdered garlic
- 2 tbsp tamarind powder
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2/3 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 6 stalks green onions or scallions, sliced thinly (for garnish)
METHOD
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C.
- In a bowl, mix ground ginger, powdered garlic, and tamarind powder, then set aside.
- In another bowl, toss Sadia Mid Joint Wings with salt, pepper, and oil. Next, coat with the spice mix.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 20 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- After the time is up, transfer the mid joint wings to a large bowl and pour the sweet chilli sauce all over. Make sure to coat all the wings.
- Return wings to the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes until caramelised.
- Garnish with green onions and serve. Enjoy!
