Sweet and Spicy Wings

INGREDIENTS

Chicken Wings 
  • 1 pack of Sadia Mid Joint Wings 
Ingredients
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp powdered garlic
  • 2 tbsp tamarind powder
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2/3 cup sweet chilli sauce
Garnish
  • 6 stalks green onions or scallions, sliced thinly (for garnish)

METHOD

  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground ginger, powdered garlic, and tamarind powder, then set aside.
  3. In another bowl, toss Sadia Mid Joint Wings with salt, pepper, and oil. Next, coat with the spice mix.
  4. Place wings in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 20 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. After the time is up, transfer the mid joint wings to a large bowl and pour the sweet chilli sauce all over. Make sure to coat all the wings.
  6. Return wings to the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes until caramelised.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve. Enjoy!
